At Gary and Mary West PACE, we understand the significance of staying active and engaged as we age. It is known that seniors benefit in numerous ways from regular physical activity- from reducing fall risk to controlling blood pressure, the advantages are undeniable. At Gary and Mary West PACE, we’re committed to supporting seniors on their journey to better health and vitality- which is why we offer a range of programs tailored to support the health and well-being of our senior community.

At Pace, seniors enjoy comprehensive services, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and group exercise classes, all designed to promote fitness and independence among seniors.  Our physical therapists work closely  1:1 to improve mobility, balance, and strength. Through personalized exercise plans and hands-on techniques, they help reduce the risk of falls and enhance overall physical function. Additionally, occupational therapists focus on empowering participants to perform daily tasks with ease and confidence. From adaptive equipment training to home modifications, Pace supports independence and quality of life for seniors.

Fitness activities at Gary and Mary West PACE also include group exercise classes which offer a fun and supportive environment for seniors to stay active and socialize. Whether it’s yoga, walking, or swimming, there’s something for everyone. These low-impact routines not only improve physical health but also provide mental and emotional benefits.

During the month of May and in observance of National Senior Health & Fitness Day on May 29, 2024, we’re excited to host special events and activities for our participants. Join us as we celebrate the joy of movement and the importance of staying fit at any age as we inspire each other to live life to the fullest.
